I didn’t have a chance to look at the Carfax. The accident probably explains the price but it would be interesting to see how bad it actually was. Either way, at least it was repaired and not totaled.
I hit hit him up when it was 11k and told him I would buy it. Got the vin from him and ran it. Told him I remember this gp when it was owned by another nam member.
Called me me back a day later said the price is now 13.5k and could go up. Haha said demand was driving up the price.
Mind you I remember this car and he bought it from a NAM member in 2016 for 15k.
Hes only put 700 miles on it in 2 years and it’s been sitting. It’s been non op the past year.
Id avoid
Have the car fax on it if anyone wants it but I suggest you pass.
I contacted this guy as well and drove up the price like you said. He said the car was started every two weeks. Did the carfax look clean?
At the end, I'm not interested in a bidding war, there will be other GP's later down the road.
I always love a good looking Checkmate! Decent miles and pretty great price too! Someone needs this!
The second one is SEXY! Black with the red/gray cloth interior and chrono pack, heated seats...higher mileage but clean and price is ok. Not sure if its a true JCW since there's no pics under bonnet but it looks like it has the JCW or R56 brake upgrade.

Hmm... Noticed something when looking closer. Does this look like things aren't quite lining up to anyone else?
May need a carfax on this one too...
This one is interesting. I wish it had pics under the hood. It has a JCW badge on the front but the JUSTA hood and side markers. In back it has S rear bumper and exhaust but has the 5sp shift ****. Probably took a hit up front and someone replaced the hood but its possible someone swapped the body bits and installed S exhaust on a Justa...
****edit: I wonder if it's one of the fabled R50 JCW's? I've only ever seen 1 but it still had exhaust on the right...
I have seen a couple. The very rare are the ones with the head work, i have one with the rare sound kit.

Over the years, I dont think any of my Minis had its panels perfectly lined up. I think its more of a quality control issue from the factory.. Bonnets especially. They can be adjusted as well. It has a clean Autocheck as well..
Whew... good. I would be all over it if I hadn't just picked up my R53 JCW. This is one of my favorite special editions. MC40 is my favorite then this, then the GP1 (only because of practicality) followed by the sidewalk. I hope someone snatches this up and takes good care of it!
Spotted this nice little 2006 R53 with 54k miles and some interesting options, including silver roof, full set of toggles, sport chrono, H/K, and all packages.
Wow ... Thank you JackMac. Amazing find. I am tempted as I have been searching for a clean R53. Not sure about the color though. Haven't seen one in the flesh. Shipping costs from east coast are crazy these days and I live in the PNW corner !! Hoping shipping from TX would be "cheaper". Would love to buy from a NAM'er but pricing seems good on this one.

This looks clean! The only thing I would double check before buying (besides carfax of course) is that it has bluetooth. They didn't come with it and it would have needed a GROM or Mediabridge installed to work with factory HK.
Looks like it was owned by a MINIac too based on the 'ACTUAL SIZE' sticker on the rear window. May have been a NAMer at one point?

What about this one? Fellow NAMer with a low mileage slick top R53...
