Thanks! What is your name over on TTAC? That place can be a bit much for me sometimes, but you are right that this MINI is well loved. I'd bet my next paycheck that my wife will cry when it pulls out of the driveway for the last time even though she has a brand new Clubman All4 as the replacement. There is just something about this car that is very special. I wish I could justify keeping it as a weekend toy.

 

I like it as well, the long distance isn't my issue, I'm just waiting on the VW dieselgate issue to resolve. Can I put a hold on it? I'm joking on the hold, it won't last long. gl

I have only posted a couple times over at TTAC- oleladycarnut. I read, but I am not a verbal jouster plus I wouldn't say that place is particularly female friendly!

Your wife will cry as that car rolls away. It's just very beautiful and it's obviously well loved. I had an 05 Liquid Yellow S which I sold far too early in the game. I still miss that little beauty.

I'm looking forward to my new F56 S and getting involved in a robust MINI community out here in Puget Sound!

Haha, with the glacial pace that VW is moving to resolve their TDI issue, my FR-S lease would be up and I'd just keep the R53 for my commuter.
