I had been planning on keeping the mini for a few more years, but a minty 135i found its way into my life, so it's time for my Mini to move to a new home. I bought it in Oct 2011 with 55k as a CPO car so it's always been to the dealer for major work. I've got all the service docs during my ownership. It's seen almost exclusively highway miles consisting of 90% cruise control driving with a little fun on the on ramps and occasional city driving. No accidents or body work, all original paint. Never smoked in. Never modded, or tracked/autocrossed.

• clay bared and waxed twice yearly
• air filter: Re-usable AMSOIL cone filter
• spark plugs: Every 2 oil changes
• front sway bar bushings: replaced under CPO at 84.5k
• front passenger tie rod: replaced under CPO at 56.5k

How you know it's a used car:

• Stock wheels need new rubber
• TPMS in one stock wheel leaks and needs replacement when new tires are installed
• Some stone chips on the front bumper/hood: Par for the course on a 94k car
• Small scratches on the top surfaces of the rear bumper
• 2-3 chips in the paint on the roof from who knows what

Was the replacement engine used when installed, and if so how many miles was on it?

 

Nope, replacement motor was brand new from Mini and installed by the dealer under CPO warranty. I babied it through the break in period too.
