Any feedback on price, etc? I'm probably going to pull the trigger on a GP in the next week or two; I don't want to blow this car out but I don't want to carry two payments forever because the asking price is totally unrealistic or something. At $15,500 the car will come with brand new pads and rotors up front and relatively new summer tires. I'll throw in an oil change, too.

A thought, but the additional mileage on the car would probably negate any savings on the front end. Look up Ready Auto Transport - you can get a firm quote online instantly (shipping from 01772).

It is with great disappointment that I must once again bump my listing. I have now had this car listed for sale for over 6 months, and despite plenty of solid leads have not yet had a single person actually show up to look at the car. Not one. I don't expect to get many leads from my posting here on NAM; I really only posted it here in hopes that another enthusiast would find it and give it a good home. And yet, even with 6 months of exposure on Craigslist and several national used car search sites, I still have the car. I'm at a loss as to what the hang-up is - it appears to be priced well compared to similar JCW's, the mileage is not out of line for a '10, and the car is in beautiful shape... Am I missing something?
A 2009 with 50K miles and extended warranty sold locally for about $15K. Your asking is not out of whack so I'm not sure it does not sell either. What kind of trade-in offers have you gotten?

This depresses me. I originally posted this add here in February, and abroad on the typical used car search engines shortly thereafter. Every place it's listed it has well over 1k views. I've spoken at length with several dozen people about the car, and I get inquiries from everywhere in the country. And yet in all this time, I've shown it to a grand total of TWO people (both of whom loved it but couldn't scare up the finances without selling their car first, which we all know doesn't work). This is easily one of the nicest JCW's out there at anywhere near this price, and yet it feels like I couldn't give the damn thing away...
I realize this isn't the place to expect a sale to come from (although we'd all love to sell our cars to another member), I just can't vent anywhere else... In light of all this, I'm going to do something I said I'd never do with this car: I'm going to offer it at a price that actually looses me money. And so, in an absolutely final attempt to find this poor MINI a new home, I will offer it at the nice, round price of $13,000 to forum members. This is actually LESS than I sold my old '05 for with similar miles, and that was just an S and it was two years older! Help me help you.
