Posting up for sale my super mint 2006 MCS JCW kit.
I purchased this car from a fellow forum member not too long ago, but the car is just too small for my and my sister's needs here in NYC. Really sad to see it go.
Car has 53,1xx miles on it.
Since purchasing I have:
- fully detailed the car
- Put 17' OZ wheels with Conti DWS tires
- fully refinished 18' OEM MCS wheels in E39 M5 Chrome shadow finish ($900 value, including repaired bends in the wheels)
- added Front SS brakes lines (rear lines will be included)
- car has full size 18' spare strapped to back seat and rests in the trunk
Cosmetically, the car is 9/10
Interior is 10/10, with only one small mark in the drivers seat thigh pad area. ( I can provide pictue)
Mechanically/maintenance the car is 10/10, with all areas addressed and updated, 100% ready to go and be enjoyed. - Upon receiving the car, I left it at my tuner shop, TyrolSport, and addressed all parts of the car, with only 1 rear strut mount addressed as needing to be changed to make car 100%
I can provide service records from previous 2 owners, as well as my one service.
Only thing car needs is a new stubby antenna, due to car cover being ripped off the antenna during strong winds. Car resides in covered garage under a Bavauto car cover.
Today is 11/11, I will be taking a flight to London in order to enjoy the Colombia v USA soccer friendly! I will be back in USA on Sunday, 11/16
So any inquiries, and future inquiries, please email me at pablor32@gmail.com
I will respond interest and email in date and time order in order to give everyone a fair chance.
Thank you! Hope this beautiful car finds a good home.

I am the previous owner of this car and would have considered buying it back except I have a '15 CMS on order. This is a great, clean car that has been very well taken care of. Tons of JCW options plus HK and xenons. I bought it from another MINI enthusiast who upgraded to a GP.

If the VIN Decoder doesn't list options 3AL (John Cooper Works Package) and 2TA (LSD) it isn't a "factory" Works car.

No ... just an Engine Tuning Kit ... which was expensive enough
When the original JCW Engine Tuning Kit was introduced in April 2003 it produced 200bhp and listed for $4,500. The kit was upgraded to 210bhp in October 2004 (by adding larger fuel injectors and an air-box). I don't know what the intial list price was on this kit but today ECS Tuning lists it at $5,838. Not only was the kit expensive but you had to pay a dealer for the 10+ hours of labor to install it. Nobody in their right mind would pay to install one of these kits on a car out of warranty.

I saw the video thanks, but I'm interested in hearing the engine starting, idling and revving. While the exhaust has a fine note to it, it's not a reflection of the engine sound. Thanks.
