Actually Edmunds says today $17,163 in clean condition for private sale with these options on this car and KBB says $17,716, so I'm low if anything and very low if you consider the mods.

ZIP code will change the amount you get too. So the car is worth more in some areas and less in other areas. I ran into this last year.

$16,705 with my zip, that's in "very good condition".. Only 3% of cars are in "Excellent". Not sure it's possible for a car with 40,000 miles to be excellent...That's no touch up paint needed anywhere, tires are like new, rims have 0 flaws, interior has 0 flaws or signs of wear...
Is a SUPER nice car, just saying...who pays Kbb prices these days

Well that all depends on buyer and seller. One persons view of excellent differs from another. KBB is not the law, just a base line for sellers to gauge their price for the market. I would start where the OP started, then if no takers, start selling the aftermarket parts and return to stock for best results. Anyways, unless we are actually bidding for this deal, who are we to tell the OP he is over priced.

I say keep it positive, because in the end it's his sale

Did I say it was in excellent condition? No. Prices are based on one notch below excellent and Perfect. Never wrecked or smoked in. Just regular Mini wear and tear like stone chips on front. I do not think you are interested in buying a Mini.
I said I will consider "reasonable offers". I have had a $15000 offer all ready. I do not consider that a reasonable offer. For that price I'll keep it. Its a very fun drive.
