2006 MINI Cooper "GP"

I have two of them & need to sell one. I paid close to $35k with all taxes, licensing, couple of extras, shipping, etc... It has only 125 single miles on it & is absolutely Brand New. Make me a reasonable offer. The Car is located in Portland, Oregon. Check out my Gallery for Pics.

If you paid 35k for a GP....you paid too much.

What the heck kind of comment is that???

These retail new for around $32k don't they? With his "extras, tax, and shipping" $35k is well in the ballpark...

My only issue is that he really should post an asking price per forum rules...

$31,150 was MSRP. Seeing he is in oregon there shouldnt have been any tax..and there were no "extras" posted. Shipping pretty much from anywhere in the US is 1k. I hate to see people gobble up limited thinigs and then try and make a profit.

I agree with Jarid...what tax? Licensing fees are only a couple hundred buckaroos and there is no sales tax in Oregon unless mininasser is a Washington resident.

GP price used

What would be a realistic and fair price right now for a used GP with under 500 miles on it?

What's with all the backseat sellers?

If you don't have a question about the sale, you shouldn't post. Or can we all not resist an opportunity to demonstrate our wisdom? This wasn't a thread labelled "lets all debate the wisdom of my pricing and now current value of very low milage GPs!" or did I miss something...

+1

The only VALID question is that per the guidelines, you must post a price. This isnt an auction house nor "best offer"

normally, I agree with this comment . . . but when you ask for offers (instead of complying with price-posting guidelines) maybe you are openning yourself up to such a discussion.
So, the question is: What is the asking price?

Man...

what's up with all the price *****! Why not just read it as $35k OBO! then there's a price, and you can offer anything! Everyone happy.

btw

this guy is also selling a r56 pw on craigslist. When I inquired on the gp, he told me that he bought the car for a friend who was stationed overseas in the army when he bought his own personal GP. then his buddy could not complete his end of the bargain. Now he is pulling the same thing on a r56. i dont mean to be a jerk but I would like to see the NAM be reserved for enthusiasts and supporting vendors. not some car dealer wanna be's. My .02

Whatever he does,

the market will speak. If he trys to scam high prices, others will buy elsewhere. If it's a fair offer, then they'll buy. If they're idiots and don't comparison shop, then the buyer screwed themselves.

Matt this happens a whole lot in the marketplace forum. It really hacks off this old fart too. These folks have who post this carp have no intention of buying anything. Guess they're cyber Lookie Lou's.

I agree he should post a price. It's the rules after all. If that was me I wouldn't respond in this forum. I'd do it with PM's & that's how everything I've bought & sold here has worked.

If you don't feel this fellow is on the up & up remember this.... CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!
