WTB: 02-04 Fully Modded MCS

Im looking to buy a 2002-2004 Fully Modded MCS. I think its time that I finally get rid of my 2002 Cooper and move up into an "S". Its a cheaper option then trying to pour money into a car that can't get much faster. If anyone has/knows of a MCS fully modded for sale let me know. Mileage isnt a major concern, ethier is a warrenty. By "Fully Modded" I mean: Engine upgrades (anything over 200whp,Brake Upgrades, and Suspension Upgrades)
Thanks,
John

I will update it everyday, til I reach a 100k miles.

and other posts about "never giving up my car"

Anything over 200 whp? That leaves out all the JCWs. Just picking from the top of the cream?

Best of Luck!!!

Try this.

I pass this car every so often. It is local to me and he has been trying to sell it for a few months. I would be happy to check it out for you (not that you know me) and at least try and help.

He seems to have done a ton of stuff to it. My only fear is that he wants too much for it.

Good luck!

Thanks Chows! I love my car, but its going to cost so darn much to get it to the point where I want it. It would be a better choice to get an "S" already modded.

Thanks AV! That is a really nice one. Your right Im affraid that he would want something like 20k. Someone was selling a twincharged 2002 MCS and couldnt even get 16k for it!!! I would have boughten that, but Ive heard so many bad things about twincharged coopers.

Just get an MCS, do a pulley and intake, and you'll be grinning all the time. After having come from a "'pretty darn fast" MC for 3 years and 64,000 miles, it took several months of acclimation to the new power before getting used to the torque steer. I haven't dynoed my 2005 MCS but its got plenty of power with only basic engine mods. Whether it's fully loaded or a warm day or I have the AC blasting or I'm towing my trailer, it's always got more than enough power to leave it in gear instead of constantly downshifting to keep the revs up.

Then get some FSD's, H&R lowering springs, decent wheels and tires for an improvement in ride and looks, a stiffer sway bar (I removed from my MC), it's a blast to mod your own car.
