If I won it for $50, I'd have it painted and keep it.

I just threw up in my mouth. I know that you-if-ication is a personal thing...but if there is ANY chance you may get rid of the car, then go with some custom paint that someone else could live with. Sure, 29000.00 and I bet that almost EVERYONE would want to re-paint it. The dealer that is selling it should shoot it another color and then there wouldn't be any problem selling it.

Yeah, like orange and blue I suppose.... . They may be having a good season but....The Bears still suck! (just a little OT inter-border rivalry)

That poor MINI looks like the JC Whitney catalog threw up on it.

I've seen adults do such jobs and kids mod in a tasteful manner. Some people get it some people don't. You're close to duping me into unleashing a rant.

Alright calm down buddy, not saying ALL kids do this to their cars. I'm 20 and my Coopah is stock. Not because I can't afford to play, I just choose not to (Mostly bc it's an Auto)

As for adults doing this, I have seen that as well, and yes, done tastefully and respectively it comes out looking nice, but this looks dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. I admire custom work, especially on the engine and real performance mods (NOT Blow off valves and fart cans) but this in my opinion, is a true abomination to all of us who love their cars, and are enthusiasts to the point where you obsessively clean, maintain, and upgrade your car.

But really though, would you say that the Volvo I saw last night (Silver with a fake hood scoop offset to the right of the car and blue painters tape flames on the hood and side valences) is something to be admired? I hope not. Sure it's custom, but it's the BAD custom.

Done tastefully, custom work is something to be admired, and most of all, appreciated. For the person who worked on the car worked incredibly hard to make it attractive as well as perform. This car looks like someone had a good idea, and then let it all blow out of proportion. Silver meets BRG and Yellow with Orange flames? There's no coordination, no thought process on styling, nothing at all (Less the owner is a diehard GB fan). You cannot say that it was done tastefully, this is a Cooper I have to say, for once in my life, I am truly ashamed of.

It must hate it's past owner.

*Begin rant now please, but do know that I am not trying to offend, merely expressing my opinion*

Interesting note: no direct photo of the inside of the driver's door, and in the pics you can clearly see the grill for the door handle/tweeter sitting on the passenger seat...

I'm not saying I like the car in the OP. In fact I said that I don't like the way things turned out (regardless of Packers affilitaition) However to suggest it must be a kids car,
..but it looks like something one of those kids would do
is the rant you were tempting. As I said some have taste and some don't, and age is irrelavant in that respect. being young yourself I don't know why you would wish to further such sterotypes

It is a stereotype indeed, and I am sorry for having to go so low as to use one, but all the kids around me where I live do this, it's almost like I'm the only stocker here

Anyway, I just feel it looks like something a boyracer would do.

Forgive me for being stereotypical, it's just what I am used to out here (Sadly)
