2004 MINI Cooper S for sale

I am selling my 2004 MINI Cooper S. The car has 22k miles, is equipped with the Sport Package, Premium Package, 15% pulley, Alta Cold-Air Induction, Mill Tech exhaust, Nology Hotwires, and black 17 inch ASA wheels that match the car beautifully. The car is very quick and corners like a slot car. The 6-speed transmission shifts smooth and crisp. The silver/black paint looks like glass and has been meticulously detailed. The inside smells brand new and the leather seats have no rips or tears. The dual-pane sunroof comes equipped with retractable shades. The Harman Kardon CD player provides a clear sound with volume and accessory controls on the steering wheel. This is the second MINI I have owned and totally love these cars! The only reason I am selling this car is to buy a JCW GP. Unfortunately, I am still in the working class and can't afford to have all the toys at the same time. So, either this car or my BMW Z4 has to go, says the wife! I have the car advertised locally for $23,500 but will entertain any reasonable (not ridiculous) offer. The car is located in the Denver/Centennial area. Call me at 303-358-8417 or email at eddiemunster73@yahoo.com if you are interested. Ask for Eddie. Click on my gallery to see photos of the car.

Found out the wife is pregnant (again). So much for the JCW GP. Regardless, I'll let the car go for $20,500. Otherwise, I'll try to keep it and trade in my BMW. Life sure changes in a flash! Almost as fast as the MINI Cooper.

For me to compare my Mini Cooper S vs. Mini Cooper S JCW would be hard to do. Honestly, the only JCW that I have driven was a GP, which I think is safe to say is in a class of its own. I can tell you that my car is a lot faster than the stock Cooper S that I previously owned. It also feels quicker than my 2003 BMW Z4 that puts out 225 hp stock. The supercharger and intake are very noticeable. The exhaust has a nice tone and isn't obnoxious. I've never dyno'd the car so I don't know the exact horsepower figures. If I were a betting man, I would guess that my car is dishing out close to 190 hp. Keep in mind that my car has the stock head and the complete Works package comes with an upgraded head and intercooler amongst other things. Being modest, the JCW will probably outperform my car, but not by much. I wish I could give you an exact answer. If you are looking for a clean, well taken care of Mini, my car is the right one. If you desire a ***** out fast, street legal race car, skip the regular JCW and get a GP.

very nice indeed. I'm glad I didn't ordder the leather 'eeette' after 3 years you can really see how the seat has 'molded' - you know what I mean.

I just ordered mine and used cloth. But, I'm thinking of upgrading to full leather - have a a week to change my mind... good luck on your sale and congrats on the baby.

Guten tag. Thanks for the comments. You'll enjoy your Mini on the Autobahn and backroads. I lived in Kirschberg for 8 years and loved it! Bitte ein Bit.

07PepperS -- My '04 Leatherette seats are still flawless. Then again I don't weigh 250 lbs.

Good luck with the sale and the baby, Eddie. Sounds like a sweet ride.

petsounds, You're lucky. The seats in my '03 did the same thing these ones did...and I don't weigh 250 lbs either.

With only 4 hp difference, the GP just doesn't feel much faster than a JCW.

We could compare apples to apples all day long. You're probably right, the GP might not feel much faster than a JCW with only a 4 hp difference but factor in the 88 pound weight reduction too. I do know that the GP that I drove was very impressive and felt extremely fast. I guess that I was out of line when I said "If you desire a ***** out fast, street legal race car, skip the regular JCW and get a GP. " especially since I haven't had the chance to drive a JCW yet. I'm just voicing what I would do. I hope I didn't offend anyone. Anyhoo, does anyone want to buy my car? That's why I originally posted this thread. Let me know if you think it's priced too high, too low, just right, wrong time of year, right time, etc.
