I bought the car off E-bay motors from the Audi dealer where Mark traded it in for an A-3 2.0T. The woman who handled the internet sales for the dealer didn't have a clue about the car and from the pictures, I could tell Mark had put over 10K into the car with the JCW kit, suspension, brakes, wheels, etc.
So I got lucky and goti it for 23,000, which Mark says was like 500 more than what the dealer gave him.
I'm in the process of putting a cam, cat delete pipe, header, Detroit bypass valve, underdrive pulley and a new JCW spec'd cone filter in it.
I've owned an NSX, a blown E-36 M-3 sedan, a blown ///M coupe, etc, but this has been the funnest car to drive only a daily basis that I've ever had. Glad to have gotten it.
Mark is a great guy, by the way. He was kind enough to tell me about his mods, and how he treated the car, which was in pristine shape.
