WTB: MCS For ~$17-18k Around Ohio
Hello. I am looking for an MCS around Cincinnati, OH. I would be willing to travel some miles, but not anything excessive (probably ~60miles or so).
Color Preference:
DS
Black
White
Blue
(in no order)
Specs:
Leather Seats (either black or Lapis blue, but will consider others)
Panaramic Sunroof
Under 40kmiles if possible
Has to be in good condition, with no mechanical faults.
Thanks for looking, let me know please!

Thanks! 53k miles is a lot of miles for under 2years. I want to mod my MINI when I get it, with basic stuff like:
Borla or Magnaflow Exhaust
Short-throw Shifter
Alta Intake
Alta 15% Pully
Possibly Headers
Rims/Tires
Springs
If I WERE to get a MINI with say 45k+ miles, would it still handle those mods fine? It seems to me like most MINI's around my area are 02'-03' and have 25-35k miles on them and are going for ~$21-23k. Would it be better to save up into 07' and buy one then? I REALLY don't want to wait, but I fear I will be regreding getting a car with 45k+ miles on it.

Edit* I think this might help me too!

A friend of mine has a 2002 S with 80K miles and has had no problems. It is fairly stock except for a pully and CAI. We are selling this one because we just got Mini #6. A 2006 S just like the one for sale. We wanted one before the 2007 changes.
buy mine for $16.5K and ship it back to Ohio with the money saved.
2003 MCS, Black and White with premium and sport package plus snow wheels/tires package, currently on this classified section
seriously, the car is in great shape at a great price, i am selling it because i need more cargo space and bought a bigger car already.

Hey! What do you guys think about this MINI. It is still a couple of months off before I could actually purchase it, but I am still always looking.
One thing I find odd is he wants $21k for an 03' MCS with only 7,331 miles on it....that seems VERY weird. I have not talked to the seller, mainly because I cannot purchase it, like I said earlier.
Anyway, tell me what you think! If I come any closer to getting money and it's still for sale I'll let you guys know! He's only ~10min from me, so I could run down there and check it out.

Hello,
The car is like new in perfect condition. It wasn't involved in any accidents. It is rust free. The title is very clear. I am selling it because I have to move with my family on a job transfer to Ireland, Europe. For now I'm in Dublin, Ireland. My offer is 10,000 USD. The car is in U.S. and I will shipp it trough Blue Stars Shipping. For starting this deal you must send a deposit of 3,000 USD to the shipping company (the shipping company will be the third party in this transaction). They will send you the car and the title of it and you will have 15 days to test and inspect it. After this you must send the rest of the money (7,000 USD). If you are interested in buying my car send me your full name and shipping address and I will contact the third party to asist us in this transaction. They will send you a notification with all details about payment and shipping method. I wait for your answer.
If you want to see more pictures with my car just click on this link:

George Jackart.

Be sure to run the numbers. With the resale value of MINI's combined with differences between new and used car loan rates, it may only a few $ more per month to order a new one. The plus side is you get exactly the car you want.
Ok, got another MINI in mind, if my dad let's me get this. He is calling the insurence company tomorrow because I called months ago, and he didn't believe it was only going to be $1,500/year (brand new 06' btw). I'm keeping my finger's crossed!
Run-down:
02' DS/W MCS
40,000 miles
lapis Blue Leather Int. with heated seats (MY DREAM!, btw
)
Panaramic Sunroof
Stock everything else I believe
Since it is an 02', the warrenty ends in June. Will this be a problem for me?
I've offered him $16k for this car. Do you guys think it's a good buy? And what should I look for since it's in a wintery climate ~3-4months of the year, besides rust? Ohio generally isn't too bad-winter wise, but we can have some pretty crap days. It's in Cleveland, btw.
What do you guys think?
Thanks!
