F.S. 03 mcs sport premium cold blk/wht

A happy day brings a little sadness, my girlfriend tells me we are going to be parents, she also refuses to let the baby ride in the mini. It'll be our firts child, I'm very excited about becoming a father. I'm sad to have to sell my most favorate toy but at 41 years old I'm been forced to grow up
I purchased my mcs new in 2003 at habberstad BMW (Long Island) It's been a great car, very reliable and extremely fun to drive. It is Black with white top, bonnet stripes and mirror caps. It has the sport, premium and cold weather packages, also the rain sensor windshield, auto diming rear view mirror, zenon headlamps, driving lights, steering wheel ergo bumps and radio controls, auto climate control, panoramic sunroof, leather seats (blue gray). It has almost 50k on the clock, mobil 1 every 5k, oil in it has less than 200 miles, I had it changed 2 weeks ago when the dealer installed new jcw struts and springs. I have the oe sport suspension too, the oe suspension did not need replacement, it was working perfectly but I wanted the jcw suspension. The car runs amazing, all performance work done By Eric at Helix minisports. It has a 19% reduced pulley, giac software, jcw injectors, jcw airbox, obx header with oe cat, miltek catback, helix short shift, Kosei k1ts wheels, falken tires(will need new tires some time within the nex 10K) Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, Hawk brake pads(plenty life left in the brake components), brembo rotors front, helix rotors rear. I'm sure there are other items I'm not remembering but upgrades total over $5000.
The car has been extremely well kept and obssesively loved. Asking price is $18,900 please look at my gallery for pictures. The car sits 1/2 inch lower now due to the jcw suspension. More pictures available by request. Thanks for your time, feel free to pm with questions.

Will post for sell on cars.com in two weeks as soon as I get my clear title in the mail. Thanks for looking. The car drives better than new, somebody will be very lucky to get this car. I'm going to miss it.

Sold :(

My car has found a new home, a very lucky young man is now grinning behind the brute's wheel. I very much miss the mini and hope to buy one again in the future. There is nothing like a mini, Meanwhile I've been learning about the wrx drivetrain that lives under the saab badges on my new family wagon. The mod bug has taken a very strong hold of me again , it's been fun learning about a new car. It's very easy to bump up the power on turbo equipped cars. There is a lot of go fast stuff available for the wrx , I had to get some .

IanF, what has caused such hatred for the mini sunroof? I loved mine.

1. I have yet to ride in a MINI w/ a sunroof that didn't rattle. I know non-rattling sunroofs are out there... but I've yet to ride in one... and I've been in quite a few MINIs.
2. The lack of a real sun sheild.
3. The excessive wind noise when it's open. The MINI 'vert with the top down is quieter.
4. I simply don't like how they look.

I just bought my used 03' MCS and my sunroof doesn't rattle! I love having the sunroof, it's sooo nice! I love it!

Happy motoring, and good luck. Seems like a good deal to me.
