***SOLD***FS: 2002 Dark Silver MCS - 113k Miles (VA)
Update 4/23/2008 - Sold!!!
I've decided to put my 2002 MCS up for sale. I've had it since September 2007. I bought it as a 2nd car, as a relatively low-cost way to see if a MINI was for me. The car is located in Northern Virginia.
I'm selling it because I bought a 2006 GP, and need some capital
.
I bought the car on the NAM forums, here is a link with background info and photos - link
Leather
Premium Package
Sport Package
The car is currently back to it's white S-Lites w/Yokohama ES100's. It was wearing black 15" steelies for winter, along with a set of Blizzaks. The white S-Lites still have quite a bit of tread on them. I replaced the rear brakes and pads in October. The fronts are still in good shape.
It runs great, and is an absolute blast to drive! No one I know can believe how great it looks considering the relatively high miles.
In the interest of full disclosure, I had some engine work done a few months ago. This was due to breaking a valve spring in cylinder #2. I not only had Lucky Dog Garage repair this item, but also had them a bunch of preventative work to get the engine in better shape than if nothing had gone wrong in the first place - consider this peace of mind over another MCS with similar mileage. I can email or PM a receipt from LDG if you'd like to see all the work that was done. Here is the thread on that issue - link
With the original cost of the car, engine work, and winter tires/wheels, I've got about $15.5k in it.
Clean title in hand. CarFax is clear - see below.
Looking for $10.5k.
Here it is, next to its best friend -

Here is the CarFax -

Thanks for looking!

The car runs perfectly, there's nothing wrong with it. It's funny, I got it as a toy, but it became my daily driver instead of the M3 since it's just so fun to drive.
