FS: "Howard" ALTA Tuned 2007 Cooper S H/B

Hello folks,

As many of you have followed along with the build of "Howard" my pure silver 2007 Cooper S, you may have also understood that I ordered a Clubman to eventually replace him. Well I thought the time was going to be farther in the future, but a little birdie phoned and said I MAY be getting a Clubman S a bit sooner than I thought. SO good news bad news type situation here. I am sad to see Howard go but I am excited at the thought of another project car coming up very soon. (Also, I still have the GP, the 02 CooperS and we have the Mellow Yellow R56 around the shop as well. So no lack of motoring excitement around me!)

Here are the details on the car:

2007 Cooper S, 2500 miles, no accidents, no damage etc. Car is as-new.
Stock Equipment:

6-spd stick
Piano Black Interior
Black/Blue Leather Combo Seats
Premium Package
Keyless entry, (no key needed other than in pocket)
Pure Silver, top and body.
Chrome package
Sports Package
Rain sensing wipers
Center Armrest
etc. etc. etc. Fully loaded. MSRP (I need to look it up) in the $28K range.

Aftermarket goodies:

JCW Alcantara Steering Wheel
JCW Shift Indicator
Rear Foglamps
Clear (turn signals) tail lamps
Following ALTA items:

2" Antenna
3" Cat-Back
Down-Pipe
Intercooler
Boost Tubes
Inlet Tube
Intake System
Wire-In ECU with tuning (260 WTRQ)
Gauge Pod, Boost and Water Temp

H&R Springs
PRIVAT 17" Netz in Black
Dunlop Direzza 215/40/17 tires

Professionally Tinted Windows (30% side and rear glass, Limo Tint Sun roofs)

Completely upgraded audio system:

Phoenix Gold Speakers and some Wiring (Power and ground converted to 0 gauge for future expansion)
JL Audio Clean Sweep
ESW / ALTA Speaker Box
ALL factory wiring still in place and nothing cut. I added and hand wired all the replacement speakers etc. So going back to stock is a breeze!
Plays EXTREMELY loud and noise rattle free. No expense spared in this installation.

ALL Stock components are available with purchase as well. I can also change the car to suit a budget or particular need of a buyer.

Total investment in the mid $30K range.

Car is available exclusively through our local ALTA Dealer Installer, Gran Prix Imports / Portland Lamborghini www.gpimports.com If you are interested in the car, either contact me or Erik Clover the sales manager at Gran Prix at 503-570-1019 They are currently the EXCLUSIVE dealer for ALTA Factory Tuned Vehicles and this is one of many that will pass through their hands in the coming months. You can also special order your Cooper S through Erik and his staff. Their service and parts department can handle any aftermarket needs from ALTA items, wheels, tires etc.

Financing and trades accepted. (They even have 10 yr terms to qualified buyers.)

Photos will be posted here, on www.altaminiperformance.com as well as www.gpimports.com

LISTED HERE! CLICK HERE or HERE!
PRICE: $31,950

Questions or comments: Please just let me know! Again, I am only happy if this car goes to the right buyer that can appreciate it for what it is and how it was assembled!

Thanks again!

As I mentioned in the post, depending if a potential client wants something added or removed would determine the price. Also, Portland Lamborghini / Gran Prix Imports will be determining the final price. Can I get a couple day reprieve until they determine that? Or if not I guess you can take this down. But really don't think I did any great injustice to the community here. But you are the mod!

Thanks for the heads up on the error.

Chat soon folks!

Yeah like I said it is bittersweet letting him go. I want to keep him, but I have a Clubman coming right around the bend, I still have the GP and the 07 mule and the 02 mule. So I have a bunch of Motoring still to do!

I will bounce back to the GP for a bit and do more mods and DIY's with it. Then get back to the R56 market right after that with some other fresh parts. So PLEASE don't think I am going anywhere.

Plus I got a call a minute ago from Gran Prix and apparently someone has already inquired about the car!

Thanks again everyone!

SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!

To a VERY nice gentleman! Older fellow, bought his last new car in 1983. In fact he traded it in on "Howard". a 1983 Porsche Carrera. Also, silver exterior with black interior. So we can all be assured that Howard has a VERY permanent home!

Thanks to everyone that called, e-mail and looked at the car. I know we sold a few more parts through Gpimports.com as a result of the "test-drives".

Thanks again and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Great news, congrats!!! I knew there was no way Howard could stay on the lot for long.
Any estimates on when you should have the R55?
