Price check 04/JCW

I haven't visited this site for sometime now and thinking about selling my car. Any ideas about what cars are going for now would be greatly apprecaited.

-2004 JCW 210hp, 27K miles
-One owner CA and now FL car, never tracked or raced
-Black, white roof, checkered mirrors, no navigation or Harmon cardon, but all other options.
-Hamman 17", five spoke wheels
-Eibach springs
-H&R control arms
-22mm sway bar

I really want to make it clear the purpose of the thread is not to sell the car any time soon, so I'm not posting pictures (don't know how anyway), I'm just curious what the market is today.
Thanks
Sam

Miles? Miles are most important.

If you really want to know, go to galves.com and find the current wholesale auction prices for your area. Internet guides are pretty much worthless. What similar cars to you are going for is what is important.

Thank you for your reply do you think selling the car in a wholesale auction is the best route? and How much would it fetch?

I bought my '04 JCW with 8,500 miles back in June for $20K. At the same time, someone was trying to get $26K for one with 18K. Other MCS (non JCWs) with up to 30K miles in this area were selling for right about $20-24K.

Long and short of it, the $20K I paid was a steal. You should be able to get in the low $20s if you were selling.

No No. Do not sell your car at wholesale auction. I'm just saying to check the current wholesale prices of cars that have already sold in your area. That is a good benchmark. That is the price car dealers are selling to each other. For private sale, then bump the price up!

Best of Luck
