'05 MINI S Cabrio - Liquid Yellow

As much as I hate the idea of it, I have to seriously consider selling my bumble bee. I just found out that I have to get knee and hip surgery and have already passed my 'other car', an SUV, on to one of my sons to take to school. I am going to need to get something higher off the ground.... at least for a while.
It has been fun !

It has almost 23,000 miles. Premium fuel always used. Oil changes at 5k, 10k & 20k. Liquid yellow with black top and black stripes. It has:
Premium, Sport, Cold weather & Convenience packages. 6 speed, Limited Slip Differential, Harmann Kardon audio, JCW intake, Milltek exhaust, Aero front bumper & grill (I also have original yellow grill), driving lamps, Euro parcel shelf. It has anthracite interior and R99 wheels in Anthracite. OEM outdoor car cover. I like and use the rubber mats (front, rear and boot), but also have new-in-box set of the carpet type mats, too.

I will figure out how to post pictures, or if anyone interested wants to email me, I'll send you pictures. I am in Baltimore if you want to see it in person.

I would like to get $24,000 for it. - Does this seem reasonable?

Yes, that seems very reasonable! If I hadn't bought mine less than a month ago, I would have jumped all over this! Good luck with surgery too.

Knee AND hip surgery... I guess better to get them both done at the same time. Yes, good luck with that, Pam.

As far as the MINI goes, I think you could go a little higher. I just purchased my 05 MCSC a few weeks ago and I did a good bit of looking around before I bought it.

I don't see the model year listed. If that's an 05, it's pretty low mileage. And if it's an 06, well... it's not even two years old yet. And it seems like you've taken good care of it. I would start at $27,500 and then if you come down, you'll be around 24 or 25.

Again, good luck with both the surgery and the sale.

Good luck with the surgery, I hope everything goes smoothly, the asking price for your MINI is more than reasonable! It seems like you have took very good care of it! I hope everything goes smoothly, and one day you'll get another MINI!

It's probably a 2005, since it's Liquid Yellow, and I think that color was discontinued in 2006, am I right?

YEP ! it is a 2005.

Liquid Yellow was discontinued after the 2005. No yellows in 2006, but a different yellow is available for the 2007's. (I like the Liquid Yellow better than the 07 yellow).

I have added a few pictures to my "gallery" but need to include more of them with the top down.

Every time I look at her she makes me smile.

I forgot to include that I have NOT ever raced it. As a matter of fact, my 18 y.o. says my driving reminds him of Mr. Magoo (from classic cartoons ).......... teenagers!

Did you happen to buy this in Charlotte, NC? This looks exactly like (with the same options, including the exhaust and aero kit in front only) as the one I almost picked up from Hendrick BMW last fall (if only it had been on the market a couple of months later, when I was more serious about buying!)

Pam, Sorry we never met... Good luck with the sale (I think it will move quickly at that price) and the surgery (hopefully afterward you will move quickly). Michael

And to eager2own - yes - I bought my mini from Hendrick in Charlotte. (I flew from Baltimore, bought it and drove it home!)

ahh... so you're the one who bought it from under me!
A very nice car based on the info I got from the previous owner -- good luck with the sale.

I remember seeing this car on NAM before, then it was on eBay at a dealer, I remember the previous owner saying, that he/she named it a bumble bee car? Either way, that is a really nice cabrio, and it'll sell fast! Take Care!
