Ummm

Adam,

I think one was available on the east coast and I thought one was available from someone in your area with a rather $$$$ price. Some folks thought it was reasonable.

A GP would be a nice stable mate to Howard. You selling that 'yellow' car?

Another thought, are you coming out with ALTA to MITM2? Bringing Howard by any chance, it would be nice to see all your improvements in person.

Ciao, Don

old81: I would LOVE to go, but I am going to stay home and keep the fort secure! (Not all my choice. Wife's bday, pregnant, etc etc.!) Sorry I will miss you. I was putting the JCW wheel and shift light on Howard tonight. More later. Yellow car is gone. Orange is in! Wink!

BlueSkies05: Thanks for the info. But are they serious?

FLMINI1048" Thank you! Just sent him a PM! Interesting!

Thanks folks!

About that price, you mean? I have no idea if NW MINI is dreaming about the prices on their pre-owned cars, or if they get their asking price. IMHO, their asking prices have always been astronomical.

Well, I will check out the crew and make sure they do a good job.

You will have to put a picture of your 'orange car' up in your gallery for curious minds. I was taking pictures of a friend 99 'red' 360 on Saturday, it was a low mile 6 speed with the CF seats in tan leather (like new with 9400miles).

Pregnant with a Bday, congrats to you and her. Is this the first?

Maybe next year for MITM.

Anyway... there's a GP here in town for sale last week... did it sell already??

Oh, and I still reserve that spot in the pastamobile for a lift. Orange is your new favorite color, no?

Guys: Howard is NOT going away! I have thought about a GP for some time and I am thinking about scratching that itch.

JCW Driver: If you know of details on that car PLEASE let me know! NW MINI has one but the asking price is just stupidly out of line! Pasta machine is always ready for a drive just let me know!

old81: I will work on those photos for you. This is not our first but our THIRD yikes! I got an orange toy, she got anothert baby. (I am actually VERY excited! Found out it is another boy and a future gear head like my other boy! In fact my daugher was helping me on Howard even tonight!)I do look forward to meeting you next year!

Blue skies05: NO kidding. They appear to be completely out of line. They have the highest mileage example I have seen and the highest price.

lurch70: Trying to get VIN# and photos right now of that car. Hope to have em tomorrow.

Thanks guys! I will keep you posted!

Blue Skies 05: I don't think I talked to you, so that is nice to hear that my CSR's took good care of you! Let me know if I can ever help you personally.

Chat soon.

BTW: I missed the "cheap" one in Ct. He sold it before I could arrange transport, so I am still searching. Keep the leads coming!

Thanks guys!

Missed you

Adam,

Nice crew you had up at MITM. I did get a very close look at the mule. Nice trailer setup and very clean products.

Will have to see what else develops these next couple of months. Your R56 cat-back is very well done. It is still my number one addition after a few more K miles and after the winter wheels and tires.

Thought you might enjoy this picture. One of the guys gave me a good listen of the exhaust at idle and up to about 2K. You folks have some serious stuff on the R56.

I happen to have the "inside word" that someone is about to post their GP for sale with only 260 miles on it... if you're still in the market, stay tuned!

WElllllllll......APPARENTLY there is good news. I have located a car within 800 miles of me, less than 300 miles and it appears to be in perfect condition. I am working out the details right now. Keep your fingers crossed.

Also, any name ideas for the GP?

Adam,

I hope it works out, pictures and all the info. when you are 100%. At least you won't have to mod it much. :-) Names, I would have to think on that. I'm sure you will come up with something. Perhaps the same name as your new baby boy!

Best - Don
