We are thrilled to announce that Erik Abbott, whom many of you may already know, has joined Ferney's Lube and Auto Repair. Erik was a senior tech at Ralph Schomp with 13 years of experience working on Mini's and numerous Factory Certifications.





(While Erik is extremely talented, he is not, in fact, working on this car while levitated horizontally several feet off the ground. I just can't seem to rotate the image, IT-challenged as I am! ) He is an outstanding addition to our team of experts. Come by for an oil change, a tune-up, or just to say hi!

We are also delighted that Erik's daughter Amber will join Sofia in the Social Media department.

 

Met you guys at MITM last summer and looking forward to coming to Denver for some periodic maintenance in 2014!

I visited Ferney's on Erik's 3rd day and noticed that he was quickly getting up to speed in his new position. Ferney quickly diagnosed my MINI's exhaust rattle and identified a serpentine belt that was not long for this world. Both repairs were made and I was on my way. I was also give a tour of the shop by its proud owner. Welcome Erik!

 

Congrats on the new gig Erick! I now have absolutely no reason to go to Shomp anymore... He always has been my favorite wrencher they had.

ggunner, how are the springs feeling to you, are you on MINI original shocks? You have a nice set of mods on your MCS.

 

Hi Don,
The new springs are fantastic, dropped the car about 30mm which looks great, yes I kept the original mini shocks, as I liked the ride. With the new springs the car hugs the road even more and a lot more responsive. Erik took it for a drive and even commented on eh handling.
Very happy with the mods so far.
