I stopped by Schomp and ordered a 2013 JCW Roadster! I went with Chili Red, all the packages, black driving lights, Lounge leather "Championship Red" seats, and finally the MINI Connect with Navigator. I was told that it won't go into production until Sept so I have a ways to go. Next I'll have to figure out a name, stripes or what kind of theme I want.

I can't wait!

Congrats on the new purchase Hope you have a good therapyst, you're going to need one to help you through the ultimate countdown. Alot here on NAM are climbing the walls during the 4-6 week wait.... But it WILL be worth the wait.

 

Thats a short wait. Mine took 9 mo. in '05.

 

I've already been waiting for several months - I wanted the new JCW engine, so I had to wait for the '13s to be released for builds, which still can't be done online, so I had to head over and work with my MA to to through the build through their program. Devin told me that I'm their first 2013 order to be placed for the Roadster JCW. Woo hoo!


I'm seriously considering contacting MINI Motoring Graphics and having a wrap like this put on the new unnamed car:

I really considered the black JCW Roadster with red accents, but I didn't think I could handle the pressure of washing it every other day!! hahaha

Bean is yellow, so I thought red might compliment him!

I've showed the wrap to all my friends and I found it interesting that either people love it or they hate it! No one was on the fence. I still want to call them and see what they can do with a bulldog theme.

The American Flag version of this one looked really good on the Chili Red one we saw at MTTS, so this should come out really nice. Teena has pictures of it in her Picasa

 

Vicki's UK flag roadster wrap is GORGEOUS!!! Someday when I need a little less room....that's what I'll be wanting!!!! Nice.

 

Scribbledpaper,I ordered my 2013 JCW Coupe for the same reason, wanted to wait for the N18 engine,and the automatic.Probably will get flamed about the automatic. but I am about to have my 70th and don't want to shift anymore.Q

Scribbledpaper... Word of advice, un-order the MINI driving lights and buy a set of Hella 500's and VIP mounts. You will get better lights and save a ton of money. I did what you are doing now and from time to time kick myself for the money wasted.
