What time are you planning on getting to the shop?

Your ph# is missing a digit.

I think he is planning on 9 to open the shop, I am planning to make the run down around 9:30, should take an hour ++.

Gotta wait for the unfreeze, I hope it stops snowing.

So far, Louisville has about 8 inches of wet, but roads are not packing up, just slush.

bahman, 62? I want to put you in my phone.

Don

And I will see you later, the 10 inches never stuck to the street out front, just slush and more slush.

Probably around 10:30, after I stop at the shack for some wire.

TTFN.

Ditto the thanks Bahman. It is so great that you open your shop to us. I hope we didn't trash the place too bad.

fast run home.

Jamie kept up.

Here is the pictures from today. HERE.

Must get to the car wash mid-morning, pretty mushy on the drive down, dry on the way back up to LV.

Had a good time, really great that Bahman and the shop host these days. Some really good work on the MINIs is being done.

Enjoy, next time I might do something other than eat pizza and take pictures.

Nice meeting some new folks and seeing everyone.

Don

My parting picture.

210 miles of mag-chloride. Ouch!

TY Bahman! You really helped me out a ton as I got BLU-BY-U lowered. Thank you Bryan, Mike and Herman for helping me get the sway bar in too. Now with today's nice weather and the MINI emptied of all the tools and parts I think it is time for a drive on some twisties.

Rich .

I just got back from my shake down ride, I am amazed how much better the car feels. I only raised it 1/2" all around. Much smoother.

Thanks for the pics Don and round up some lug bolts so I can make your hangers.

Nice to hear that everyone is enjoying the changes they made to their MINIs.

I did clean up the MINI today. After picture album here.

This picture is after a few applications of hard muscle on the mag-chloride. It took a few attempts and wheel gel cleaner to get that stuff off.

Snow on Tuesday, go figure I have to drive down to Schomp on Tuesday....

Folks,

On behalf of Import Auto, a big thank you for coming and making this event a budding success. Overall, we had 10 cars, and did the following:

5 4-wheel alignments
1 Oil & filter change
1 Rear rotors machined on the car and pads installed
1 4-wheel dynamic balance
1 Alta rear control arms and engine compartment work
1 Rear sway bar tightening (shortening)
1 4-wheel springs change to lower the car, install rear sway bar, etc.
1 4-wheel coilover adjustment to raise the car 1/2 inch
1 CAI installation
1 full-time photograper

If I left anyone or anywork out, please feel free to add to the above list.

I look forward to scheduling future events, and right now, I am considering hosting a Detailing Day in May where you can have your car on a lift, and scrub them rocker panels, weels, suspension parts, etc. really good.

Bahman

Well I finally carved out the bushings for the sway bar and put those on. Too bad NM Engineering does not sell their bushing that come with their sway bar, they are nice.
Oh and I found on ebay a B&M SSK for $34!. Now I just need to find a warm day and let the garage floor get warm enough to put BLU-BY-U on the jack stands and go at it. The directions are very complete.
Thanks a ton Bahman again!
