MINI5280 We need your help
All
As most of us know one of our members, Cenk had twins early last October and as many of you know one of them - his daughter Ayla is not doing so well. She is scheduled for surgery at Children's early tomorrow morning.
This is where you come in. We would like to have as many members donate their blood as possible, Ayla is O+ but as you all know blood centers are always hurting for donations.
Childrens prefers reservations but they welcome walk-ins and we would like to do this as soon as possible. I will contact the hospital and let them know that we will be having some members come by sometime today so at least they are somewhat prepared.

I just made my appointment and look forward to seeing everyone there.
If you are going to donate try to make an appointment because it is much easier for them.
I'll be there from a little after 1 until 3 when the blood center closes.

The Martinez family, as well as our DP and Prima families, wish for her a great outcome. She and her family are in our thoughts now and will be throughout what I can only imagine will be a tough couple of days.

Ayla update
Libi and I are very grateful for your time, prayers, thoughts and precious blood.
Little girl is a fighter. After a long surgery she is recovering. The doctors are very positive about her recovery and she is exceeding expectations.
Everyone has commented on the amount of donor direct blood. They were very impressed on the amount in such a short time.
This would be impossible without your help. We are very thankful to the entire MINI 5280 community. Thanks to Joe, Rick and Chuck. Especially JPS for all the support and help.
