Corroded Coil brass tips
Rich,
Go to Ace and get some 8mm s.s. cap screws, 50mm long. Leave the stock bolts with the stock coil. I did use the bottom rubber gromets off the stock coil under the MSD. It'll make sense once you have it all apart.

I went with M6x1.0x50, which only came in full thread, so I used some heat shrink to make them fit snug in the holes of the MSD. No play with it on there. It worked very well with the grommets on the top and bottom. Had to get one of the bolts out though as it had broken off, good thing it had plenty of thread sticking up for me to grab with the vice grips and rotate it out with no problem.
LOL. Well I just did a test lap thru my neighborhood, on to hwy 66 then down some main streets, and I can tell the difference. At low speeds the stock coil with the new plugs still hesitated and was not very smooth at all. With the MSD it is very smooth now, and with DSC off, and full throttle, it gets to 90 very fast and smooth now. I say it is very worth it now! Hippie you need one!
Good for you
-I still want to throw it on and compare to the stock - back to back - Are you going to be in the Springs for the DIY day ?
Of topic - I know I put the DTBPV on and had a few headaches with it, I am considering taking it back off as the side effects come close to out weighing the benefits - back on topic

) I spent some time on the nengun site, interesting. I really like the wheel selection. Kinda hard to find MINI stuff, but they do have some.
Thanks...
More pennies in the jar this morning.
I will see who is going to Singapore out of my wife's office, perhaps they can stop by the warehouse! Wonder how that is handled at the gate.
Thanks for the ship to you update. Btw, you getting an R56?
