Just got my new tires

This time, Toyo Proxes 4. $86 each locally, plus I have to have them installed. I found them for $149 online but my wife's company (a tire wholesaler) is willing to supply them at this price. 205/45/17 and they do have other sizes.

If you are interested in a set, or in something else (they have Yoko too at good prices) just let me know.

Jonathan,

Nice tires, should be good on the track for Sunday.

Unless your planning to run the old ones down to the cords.

See you in the AM.

Strategy = Old ones to the cords

Then, new ones on this week. If I drive gingerly, I should get a solid 15,000 mi ought of them. This new set is my 5th, now at 66,000. About 16,500 per set. Yokos got less.

You have Yoko AVS? If they are down, might be pretty sticky for tracking.

No, the Yokos were after the OEM

runflats. They were quite good on the track back then but they did not last.

Go figure.
