Are they adding on? They have been there a couple of years now. Before we got our '07 MINI, we stopped there to see if they sold MINIs and they did not. Hmmm.

A salesperson a couple of years ago said they were trying to get one up there but it was long wait to approve. Maybe it's finally happening... where did you read that at?

Maybe here? http://www.greeleytribune.com/articl...69944/1006/rss

Service Director at BMW is a friend of mine. He said getting Mini was an un-written hand shake agreement when Co's agreed to build the new BMW store. That was at least 4-5 years ago.

To bad I live in Castle Rock. I would work for Co's in a heartbeat!

As Clint said in A Fistful of Dollars:
Joe:Baxter's over there, Rojo's there, me right smack in the middle.
Silvanito: If you are thinking what I suspect, I tell you, don't try it!
Joe: Crazy bell-ringer was right. There's money to be made in these parts

.... and MINI5280 right in the middle.

This is exciting! Geez, you'd think working at a Loveland newspaper, I'd know about it! Haven't seen anything yet...

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how one becomes a MA? Not for me; I couldn't sell a starving 8-year old a candy bar - I suck at selling - but for a friend who loves MINIs and has some new car sales experience with Toyotas and VWs. He's doing a job he hates right now and often talks about going into car sales again. He doesn't live in Colorado at the moment but might be willing to move.

Hmm...too bad it's not in Boulder. Ralph Schomp is still closer to me by 10 miles - plus I've had a great experience with them (service & sales).

Excellent, I can't wait. I have had the worst sales and service dealing with Ralph Schomp and the cowards who manage the place that I was ready to drive to New Mexico to get service work done. This new dealership couldn't come soon enough!

I know the information in the following link is a little dated but a lot of the info is news to me: http://www.reuters.com/article/press...09+PRN20090622
The one opening in El Paso is what interests me.
