Says if you/(I/we) can generate enough interest in “R52/R53 JCW Aerodynamics Package”, making it financial feasible, I’m certain
we can have Germany to produce a limited quantity to satisfy demand. We can explore the possibilities. Who’s interested, ready,
willing and able to plop their money down if we can make this happen? Let others know as well and let’s see if we can garner
enough support to have BMW dust off the old molds. Let me know here.
I understand. 3K, huh? That’s sorta’ what I said when I got rid of my ‘73 BMW 2002 and 3 (‘92, ‘92, 93) miatas! “...But you wouldn’t know a diamond if you held it in your hand” - (Steely Dan). :-( Man!, am I kicking myself today! Imma’ treat my 1st GEN like a diamond. Wish us luck.

I would be interested as i get occasional bouts of paranoia that mine will get damaged with no way to replace it. Like mentioned, it would need the grills, decals, etc, to make it complete.
Don’t want to rain on the parade, but a single dealer won’t have enough sway. They need to get a contact at MINI USA to push for it, and then MINI USA would need to commit to buying the kits. I think maybe, if lucky, could get 50-100 sold without too much trouble.
Agree, would need to be sold as a complete kit with all 3 front grilles, rear decals, side mount plates and grills, etc.
it took me 2 years to piece together a complete spare kit, and surely there are others who would appreciate an easier way to pull it all together.

Yeah, I’m going to say that’s not going to happen. A friend of mine works at parts at MINI and there’s no way a dealer will have that kind of push with corporate/factory/overseas.
The demand isn’t there, enthusiast like ourselves, in the grand scheme of things is nothing compared to the mass market. We make up a tiny percentage. That alone will be unlikely to get them to reset production.
