R53 rear strut Tower Brace

I purchased this and ended up switching it out for a different look/style after about a month. Cleaning out the garage so freeing up space. $200 OBO shipped

Cool looking strut bar. I'm not interested but have always been curious what solid component these attach to?

there are 4 total (2 each side) 13mm bolts where your rear seats lock in when upright. they go there. Can latterly be installed in 5 min.

Digging this. Besides the aesthetics. Did it make a difference in handling?

Honestly, It looked good. And if there was any increase it would be minimal. I liked the look and I still have something similar that I got from the UK that is polished aluminum.

The one I have is one solid bar and welded end plates.....I have a sunroof which on most 1st Gens tends to be a bit noisy with rattles and creeks since MINI has plywood up there. Since installing the bar the noises went away, so would have to say yes, it did stiffen the body some.
