Interested, but do these add to a rough ride? I have a convertible and the I don't need to add to the stiffness. Do these help prevent the mushrooming shock towers? And please pardon my ignorance

I put the IE fixed camber plates on my R52 S, and didn't notice any extra ride roughness. The handling definitely feels crisper, though.
I’ve never installed them ... so I can’t answer that directly ...
I do have similar plates on my R56 and do not notice any ride quality issues.
The reason I chose this particular brand is because they use a urethane mounted top bearing rather than hard mounting it.
Click on the ECS link that I’ve provided above... it gives this in the description ... they are generally spot on in their descriptions
”Looking to increase handling in your MINI ? Lowered your MINI and need to get the alignment correct? If so these camber plates are for you. Made from aircraft quality aluminum, these precision machined components incorporate an OE style bearing within urethane insulator that doesn't rattle or loosen up like a spherical bearing will.”

Thank you for the PM's and interest...I've replied to all messages.. if I have not replied to you yet... please send again.
I'm answering here so all can read.
You can see in this promo-photo that the bearings are mounted in urethane.... NOT 'hard mounted' to the plate like some other brands.
This is why I chose to buy these.
In CONTRAST ...the Vorschlag units, (which are the same price as these SPG...I passed on these )... if you look them up you can see Vorschlag (and some others) they ARE hard-mounted.... I'm not saying one is better than the other... but they DO have different 'character' and levels of NVH.
I DO have the Vorshlag plates installed on my 2011 R56... and I will probably switch out to the SPC this summer to see if they will reduce the NVH while still providing the adjustability I need.

In my experience, they don't add to the rough ride. They should help with mushrooming, but I don't have the facilities to test conclusively. I had them on my R50 for about 5k miles, and I was pretty happy with them.
