Mini OEM Roof Racks F55 5-door (cars w/factory rail system)

Category: Exterior
Price: $120
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): F55
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Brand New

_____----SOLD----

I have a set of factory OEM cross bars that i bought for my F55 Mini. I though these would work, but they require the factory rail system to attach. Never got around to returning them. These are key locked, and have a simple twist installation that makes them easy to install and remove. And a cool MINI logo on the side :-)

Car is now off lease, so don't need them. Never used, still have keys in the bag.

Mfg Part #

$250 new, selling for $120. Located in Downtown Jersey City (2 blocks from Path train). Not sure on shipping cost, buyer pays.

Fed Ex ground is telling me $68 (to a residence), so i can split it at $34.

Length adds a bit of $$ to it.

Confirming that these are for an F56 (2 door hardtop), per the updated part number you linked. Any idea of shipping cost to 33462?

Yes, they were for my f55, but the four door is the same exact width; rails don’t matter to length of vehicle.

shipping would be $19 if I paid half (fedex ground)

According to the ECS Tuning website (and my friend who is a MINI Service Advisor), the parts for the two cars are not the same. If these are the part # ending in 916, as indicated in your last post, they WILL fit an F56. Just making sure.

to clear up any confusion, here is the sticker on the rack with the part number. Didn't realize there was one, till i flipped it over

Did a little searching, and i see everyone's point about different part numbers for the F55 vs F56. For the life of me, I can't see why they would make two different parts for cars that are the same width, and why one would fit vs. another. yes, the rails are longer on the 4 door, but no logical reason why the width or mounting on the rail would be different.

The roof shape on the F55 is different. While the F56 has a “flat” roof with the rails attached to it, the F55 has bumps in the roof where the rails attach. This has the effect of making the distance between the rails wider, which is the reason for the difference.

Looks like $44 for Fed Ex ground, so $22 should be good.

This is Ludlow MA, right? Residential?
