LEAP Beta V2 Spoiler Extension / Gurney Flap

Category: Exterior
Price: $160
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): SoCal
Item Condition: Used

I have this spoiler extension I ran for about 4-5 months before taking it off. It gave the rear spoiler a nice little bump. I got it from ECS Tuning a while back and painted it black, but It could probably use a better coat now. The fit was pretty good and, while subjective, I loved the look. The only reason I took it off was to sell my Mini. It will fit on any second generation Cooper with the S / JCW spoiler.

These go for $200 shipped on ECS and I'm asking $160 shipped. I can give you a better deal if you do a local pick-up. Located in Bakersfield, CA

Replied to the PM and here are some, not so helpful photos of the spoiler extension on the car. I don't have any showing the back, but if anyone would like, I have no problem pulling it out and taking pictures with it on the car.

I'd be interested but unfortunately don't have the budget for it this month.
One question though: how did you keep it attached and were there any issues with it coming loose/not lining up properly?

Well, I still have it available! It may be here once you do get the funds.

In terms of mounting and everything, I used 3M automotive double sided tape. I basically aligned everything up with a ruler and some tape, then I stuck it on. Pretty easy process and it fit really well. It's molded to the shape of the R56S oem wing, so as long as you align it properly it fits perfect. I had it mounted for about 6 or so months I'd guess? And it never had an issue with coming loose. In fact, it was pretty difficult to get off. I used a heat gun and brought it up slowly. The paint underneath was still perfect as well. Pretty cool little removable wing extension for sure.

Thanks for the info!
Do you have any more pictures? I've now got it budgeted out and can afford it, though I would appreciate seeing close-ups and what not first.

If you send me a message with your phone number I can text you some up close pictures! I’m having some trouble uploading them on here.

Just a heads up that I sent a PM the other day. Sorry if you already saw it, I just want to make sure!

Oh, I apologize! I didn’t realize. I’ll send you some photos when I get off work today. It’ll be about 5 hours or so from now.
