I purchased a 2006 Mini Cooper S with 101K miles on it. The prior owner had a harmonic balancer failure. They replaced the balancer and belt and started it up. It idled, but obviously has bottom end damage (sounds like a spun bearing). I replaced the entire engine but reused the transmission.

I have sold the supercharger, but if anyone needs parts. I believe the head is fine as all noise was at the bottom of the block. I purchased a complete unit from a salvage yard, so little was moved over. I did move over the oil filter housing as the donor engine did not have an oil cooler.

 

Oh, I have the intercooler also however it is missing the plastic cover.

 

Where in the southeast and what is the price you are looking to get?

 

I am in Rutherfordton, NC, but I travel to Atlanta about once a month with my truck.

I am open to any offers for parts off of it, or an offer for the entire thing. It is still pretty complete minus SC and oil filter housing with the oil cooler (I have an oil filter housing w/o oil cooler to go with it.)
