I'm selling my airtec intercooler off of my r53. I am upgrading to the front mount system by airtec...this is the only reason I'm selling it. I've only had the intercooler on the car for about 4 months. The only imperfection is that I had to cut the top right corner of the intercooler on the flange that seals to the roof(hence the price). For whatever reason, I couldn't get my hood to close so I had to snip it a bit. While I admit, it's not the prettiest thing in the world a) I never expected to sell it honestly and I personally don't care about cosmetics too much, b) it not hurting its performance seeing as it still seals to the roof and c) There is a seal that goes on top of the flange anyway....I just chose to run it without. Anyhow, that's the only cosmetic problem with the intercooler. It's never been dropped and doesn't have any scratches. It works flawlessly. There is foil tape on it as you can see by the picture, but I will remove that and clean it before I mail it. If you have any more questions of if interested, then let me know.

Not worth the investment. Very little performance gain (if any) over OEM.

And the fact he is going to a very inefficient front mount should tell you how little he knows about the workings of an IC.

 

read that after I posted. It woul dbe money better spent on aquamist if you really want cooler temps
