I have a brand new, never mounted JCW carbon fiber spoiler in the box. Includes Spoiler, hole filler fins, and mounting Template. I purchased this years ago, never mounted. While it would look great on my current JCW I dont think it will work with my roof rack and my bikes. Post pictures later.

These are like unicorns, they are so rare. And never mounted either!

Asking price is very reasonable on this.

I have seen old ones go for $700. Now ones unused go for $850 and up.

I seriously entertained this what the post first went up. Only with all things considered that I decided it would not fit in with my priorities for my Mini. The top being that I would not be able to use the outdoor cover. The second is, while it look nice it is not enough of an improvement over the fashion stock "wing" of the R53, if they do anything meanful. If I go to that trouble of changing the "wing" it better deliver enough real life increase of downforce and I infer the surface area needs to be much larger.

I can't argue it is a nice looking CF wing and a very fair price being it is brand new and NOA.

I hear you. I bought a cover on eBay last year for $40. It sure helps keep the car clean. I looked into that too. To use this wing with a cover I need a GP cover. And I wont find one of those for $40.

Here is a picture of my car that has the same wing. There is also a Motoringfile article on the wing that explained that this wing was the one used on the MINI Challenge cars in 2006 and was "wind tunnel" optimized. I assume this means that it more likely lessens lift or decreases drag vs. providing downforce as it is unlikely anyone with a streetable MINI is actually going to put on a wing that would actually provide downforce.

I have actually considered buying a back up wing as I've only seen a couple of these come up for sale and I would be unable to replace mine if something happened, but right now $700 is too much for me even though it's a great deal. GLWS! (let me know if it is still available in a couple months).
