I see a moderator posted a message on his personal page. Do you have his name and address?

If you sent the money with PP you can file a claim. Hopefully not as friend and family.
Ben
But I hope it's just a misunderstanding, he may have something came up.

thx and yea thats what im hoping as well being xmas and all i am hoping that life just got in the way. But honestly even then, it’s pretty crappy to not just take a minute to send me a message every now and then or even just refund me the money and tell me he doesn’t have time to send it.

Unfortunately tho i sent the money thru pp as a gift (my fault, i dont use it enough to know the rules on it and that you cant get a refund when you do that).

I got a refund when I used family and friends gift to make a purchase. The circumstances were slightly different than this. I used the wrong email address. The only difference was a period in the address. But I tried and they got my money back. I am just saying it won't hurt to try.

Cool

PP states you are not protected unless you paid for goods.that is why I never pay with friends unless you are my friend, the 3% is very small fee to pay for buyer protection.

It's on its way!! Sorry my inbox has been full and didn't get your messages. I apologize, I'm not in this website too often and the email associated with this account is my old email! Sent the tracking but didn't see that the message went through cause I didn't realize my inbox was full! So sorry!

Thx guys, im going to give him a little more time before i try the paypal refund route (even tho i dont think itll work because i was trusting and tried to save him the fees as well). Plus as hokey as it sounds, it’s Christmas and the one time of the year i like to try and believe in peoples good sides.

Bcriverjunky,
If i get to that point tho and i see he is actually being dishonest, then i will post the email address.

being as he has like 300 posts on here and has been a member for a few years tho, im really just hoping life came up and hes being honest.

Yea i think im done. Im contacting paypal to see if they can help me out. He has pm’d me 3 different times now since we started that the tracking number was “being sent tonight” or “tomorrow night” then i get nothing from him for weeks.

Really sad people would do this right at the holidays.
Too bad to cause i never had any problems on mustang forums or classic car forums, only once on an import site. guess ill stick to buying mini parts “new only” from now on.
