6 Point Bolt In Roll Cage

Category: Interior
Price: $400
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R53
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Used

I have two of these cages available. They had been professionally installed and removed from the race cars. These cages come with all of the mounting hardware needed to install. These came out of non sunroof cars. As such I am unaware if they will work with a sunroof car. These had been purchased from Mini Mania when new. Price doesnt include shipping. Email me at rm@r53spares.com to arrange purchase.

Even though I don't track I think having one of these would be awesome, so that's worth a bump.

HillBillyChilli Yes indeed they are cool!! I'm putting one in my R53 street car. I've got a sunroof in mins so we shall see how it works out.

Mega72 do you have access to a loading dock and forklift? Shippinf it on a pallet would be the most cost effective route.

Looks like Autopower brand of roll cage. What are you going to do about your airbags on the A pillars and B pillars? It used to be that the sunroof style roll cages from Autopower would sit approx 2 " below the headliner. Many of us would use them in the 80's/90's in other makes of cars and would opt for the " non sunroof" roll cage but put them in sunroof cars. Snug fit but was a much better install compared to shimming the roll cage feet to get a better fit. You might check local racing chapters - as not all clubs will certify roll cages the same way. Enjoy, this is a great price compared to other options. GLWTS.

PM me the address and I will send you a quote. If you have a Greyhound Bus terminal in the area that is the most cost effective method. Especially if you can pick it up at the terminal. I've quoted out shipping for other people who have expressed interest, and if you are able to pick up the package at the terminal. Rather than having it delivered to your doorstep it really knocks down the cost.

PM me if you would like to arrange a local pickup. I will definitely discount it for you if he wants to come pick it up. I have all of the mounting parts, nuts, bolts etc.. Also I have the cage pieces numbered for ease of assembly.

There is no welding required as it is a bolt in cage per the title.

Hmmmmm......installing a roll cage in a street car, to be used on the street. Your head will love the softness of the cage should you have an accident.

Most trucking companies have a pick up area so you can pick it up at closest terminal.
