Would I need to change my fuel pump to accommodate these injectors?

ByteTroniks just added 550 injectors to my R53 when they put a tune on and did not change the fuel pump.

New Fuel pump needed = No (OEM pump will do fine unless it has a lot of miles and if it's making noise).

Custom Tune needed = Yes. These injectors will need to be scaled properly in order to work with your ECU.

Also suggest you change out your fuel filter if car has more than 80k miles.

not to thread jack my own thread but is there an average life cycle on the fuel pump? Mines sitting just under 300k. I have replaced my fuel filter though.

If it was my MINI, I would change out your fuel pump with a new OEM unit for some preventative maintenance

Okay to clear something up which has been super annoying these injectors are 550cc with the minis fpr. Someone just returned them after purchasing because Bosch lists them as 630cc. Yes they are 630cc injectors if you run them at 4 bar fp. I expect any potential buyers to understand how the part works before buying. So that I'm not wasting my time and money shipping.
