Alta 3" turbo back, catted downpipe, with a second resonator section. Installed and realized the older I get, the more I appreciate quiet. Definitely an awesome sound, but not something I can live with driving 3-4 hours between plants on a regular basis.

Recently purchased from a fellow member and installed with no problems. Ordered a few new v-band clamps which will go with the exhaust. Not looking to make anything off it, just what I paid for it and the clamps.

Currently installed on my 08 R56. If you happen to be local (Maryland, near the beach), I have a lift in my garage that you are welcome to use to do the install. Willing to ship at buyer's expense.

Ordered an extra turbo-to-downpipe gasket to include as well.

how easy is this to install

 

Remove factory exhaust heat shields - (10) 10mm bolts. Remove (3) 13mm bolts at the top of the downpipe. Disconnect O2 sensors. Remove mid plate, (6) 10mm bolts. Open v-band clamp at bottom of the downpipe. Remove exhaust, remove downpipe.

Transfer O2 sensors to the new downpipe, and install the new system in reverse order. Worst part is dealing with the heat shields -- with my big hands, it is tight in there and just time consuming.

Main difference is that the Alta is in a few segments with a v-band clamp at each connection point -- a little easier to manage installing/removing, but also requires some fiddling to get it lined up straight.
