FREE to a good home...

I bought this silver dash and repainted the pieces gray to install in my pre-FL R53, but didn't get around to finishing them and then the car was totaled - so I now have an extra set of dashboard pieces.

UPDATE: Based on another sale post for dash pieces, it looks like my passenger-side airbag cover is useless, as some pieces are missing (probably because the airbag was blown) but seller didn't mention that to me. I've sold my Mini and don't need nor want these, but I can't just throw them out. I'm giving them away for FREE to anyone who wants them.

These will only fit if you have the 5 individual dash pieces in your car. I'm pretty sure '05 and '06 have the 3-piece dash, and these will not work in those models. You will receive everything you see in the pics; nothing more, nothing less. Downtubes included.

I'm giving these parts away. It's not worth it to me to go through the hassle of finding a correct box, packing them, taking them to the post office, etc. I appreciate the offers, but no, I'm not interested in shipping them at your expense. I could probably charge $50 plus shipping for them, but I'm trying to just do a favor for a local Mini enthusiast.

We get that you're trying to do a favor for someone, but its been 2 months now and that local Mini enthusiast hasn't appeared. I'll pay for the items and shipping, I would really love the anthracite dash.

 

I get that you'd like an anthracite dash but this isn't that. This is a silver dash (and downtubes) that I have painted (and not particularly well) a shade of metallic gray that is very close to the outside color of the car. The pieces would have to be repainted anyway.

 

Oh, the OP doesn't mention you already repainted them, just that you were going to repaint them. They look like anthracite in the pics.

Indeed - sorry it wasn't clear about that.

I have to say that the color almost matched perfectly the outside of the car (Dark Silver), but I should have prepped the parts with Bulldog first and primed them. They were clearcoated with matte clear, but the paint still chipped a little from just sitting in the box, touching each other.

Anyway, they should be painted again before install.
