I had all of this in an R53 as part of a full Rockford Fosgate system. This box was built by the Stereo Store of Eugene, OR. It is the exact volume the sub calls for in a sealed enclosure, has a felt pad beneath the sub, and allows for storage of small items underneath (around $200). This sub is VIOLENT, but damn, it is so satisfying. The third photo is of me showing the depth of the sub (about 2"). This depth means a lot of travel/excursion. There is a LOT of displacement here, but how it can control that movement so well is where this thing is so awesome. It's a 12" but in this box it really does have a tight accurate sound.

The amp is also completely bulletproof, never once hit thermal threshold. RF underrates their amps output, this is a 1000bdcp (class bD, Constant Power) but will put out over 1200 watts rms, probably 1600+ peak power. Research these amps and you'll only hear good things. I can honestly say, this amp could power TWO of these huge subs, no problem. The "power" led glows blue, I doubt the other colors for "thermal" and "protect" will ever be seen with this setup, it can go forever! A perfect match for the this sub, and a big reason it performs so well. *rockford recommends 4 gauge wiring. I used 0 gauge and a deep cycle battery, zero issues, endless tunes.

HAHA, almost! It is a very powerful sound that you can feel quite a ways away from the car. The only sacrifice is your boot basically disappears.
