Finishing up the suspension upgrade on my R53. Now it's time for the alignment. I read several threads with a lot of different alignment specs which have left me a bit confused. So if anyone can opine on this set of numbers for my set up and use, I would appreciate it.

Use: daily driver + 2-3 autox events per year (non-competitive, just fun)

Dampers: Koni Orange front and rear
Springs: TSW
Camber plates: IE fixed
Stock front sway bar
19 mm rear sway bar
Adjustable rear LCA
Poly bushings all around

Pretty standard stuff. If I understand correctly, the front camber will be ~1.9 with the IE plates. I'm thinking somewhere close to 1 would be good for the back. 1/16" toe out in the front and 1/16" toe in in the back. These numbers seem to be reasonable to me, but I I've never had a lowered car or requested a custom alignment. Before I make a costly mistake and have to get the car aligned twice...I would like to hear from the more experienced in the group.

I would contact Way, @ Way Motor Works as he does a lot of these Mods.

The IE plates are not adjustable (I have the same ones), and I get around -1.9 camber.

For toe-in, you should be fine....I run around 1/16" toe-in on the front, and close to the same in the back. For a daily driver with a little bit of track time, that sounds just about perfect.

So just back from the alignment shop. The front camber came out weird. -1.0 on the drivers side and -1.9 on the pass side. Makes me think either the suspension needs to settle (drove it straight to the shop) or something is off. I triple checked everything before I put it back on the car, but it's really the only thing I can think of. Any thoughts?

How'd you come out on the alignment?

quite a diff but it's fixed you can not adjust it unless you swap them for better plates.

toe out on the front is kind of aggressive
