I have for sale a pair of Bixenon headlights that I rewired for my 2008 R56 with halogen headlamps. The headlamps are oem but the hid kit is not. I put in resistors for the bulb out light. Low beam and flash to pass works. High beam doesn't. You can rewire to make it work but I don't have the time plus I'm selling my mini. Also left side has a tab broken.

These headlights are rewired in the headlight plug. I matched the pins with the plug on the car. Everything is reversible to having them as they were. These were baked open but sealed back up pretty well. Never seen them fog up or anything like that.

It's a nice project for a tinkering person.
