Hey I am thinking that I am going to need one of these. My vertical selector is out.... will replacing the assembly fix that. I have a thread out right now trying to figure that out. HAHAHA Im new to the DIY stuff. If so I might be interested in purchasing this. My I have an 04 MCS that has a Service DD of jun 04.

I posted in your thread...need a little more info.

 

You know you want to modify your shifter stick!...angle, length, etc...this is what you need so you can just swap it out with no down time!

thats an awesome price, but mine doesnt have the 'ridged' design. its the smooth black one. I dont think it would fit

 

It would fit, but you would have to use the corresponding shift cables that go with this design...which probably wouldn't be a bad idea depending on your mileage

 

True, I am at 156000 right now. its just finding the time to really get in there to make sure thats what I need. need more hours in a day. Will get back to ya as soon as I can, sorry

 

What solved your original problem if you didn't need a new manual assembly? This sounds eerily similar to what happened to me before my stick went extremely loose to the right. Thanks in advance.
