4 Motegi TrakLite 1 MR 2330 Gunmetal Forged Wheels

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $300
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R52, R53
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

Set of 4 Motegi Racing Traklite 1 MR 2330 Gunmetal forged wheels with Motegi Center Caps. This is a great lightweight upgrade for the Mini Cooper Gen 1 cars (not sure of other fitment). All wheels have been used for 8 years as my summer wheels and have curb rash, discoloration, etc. One has been repaired by professional wheel repair firm, Wheel Tech (hey, they are light!) and is missing its TrakLite label but I have the report that shows the wheel runs true.

Prefer local sale in Chicago area and can meet halfway within 100 miles of 60035. Or can work up customized shipping quote but max to continental US is estimated to be $100 for one BIG box, you can do this when each wheel weighs 14.33 lbs.

17x7
42mm offset
4 bolt hole pattern
6.5 KG or 14 lbs 5 oz

Spec Sheet from Summit Racing but mine are in gunmetal color

Additional Information

These Trak-Lite wheels from Motegi are a one-piece forged design and are stronger and lighter than cast wheels. They immediately improve handling, braking distance, and most importantly, acceleration. Less unsprung weight helps you get off the line quicker, so you can stop spinning your wheels and start racing them. Motegi Trak-Lite wheels are available in flat black and gunmetal finishes.

Great opportunity to get a wheel that is literally half the weight of an oem SLite! PM if interested or mail to michaelstroz@gmail.com or text to 9147208300. Many more pix if needed.
Mike

I'm having issues uploading pix. Will have some tomorrow AM taken with a different camera.

Update, different camera didn't help, different computer didn't help, Getting a security certificate missing error message. I've written to the Webmaster, we will see. Sorry.

I’ve been asked the following, sorry for not including originally.
1. Wheels have about 30,000 miles on them, as they were purchased when the car was 3 years old and were only for summer use.
2. Wheels were used on my 2005 MINI Cooper S Convertible without spacers. No issues.

Thanks Baymotors for your advise. Wife will look at pix from 2007 and 2008 Dragon to see if any exist from that era.

And yes they are extremely light wheels!

Seem priced right, but if they're not moving has to be limited interest to warm weather climates which brings in expensive shipping. You used them as sumner wheels in a cold weather climate. To find a local you need someone willing to switch out wheels as you had done. You need a track enthusiast, or unfortunately a price drop to draw more interest from folks who might be willing to rotate wheels between Winter and Summer and those folks probably already have two sets of wheels already. They might like yours better, but probably want a super deal to go that route. Good luck. I'm sure it's just a matter of time, but if getting impatient try a modest drop in asking price.

I think they are priced right, great set for the track. Put them on the list for Honda guys and they will sell.

Thanks. May have a NAM member interested but if he doesn't move, I'll try the Honda and Acura forums... And heck they can stay in my crawlspace till next season... It does seem like a waste though as they are stupidly light...
