I wonder how these compare to the DP6 setup? Whats the advantage of this 4 pot caliper over a 6 pot caliper?
How many miles on the rotors and calipers?
Were these tracked at all?
Are the BP10 pads new or used?

The DP6's have more Piston area but are not necessarily a better caliper. The FNSL4R's are lighter, Skinnier, and are radial mounting which is a better mounting setup. One of the biggest advantages to this setup is Wheel fitment the dimensions are much more friendly with these calipers. With this kit is you get the 1.1" width rotor, standard DP6 Kits give you a .81" rotor. The 1.1" gives you better heat dissipation and is only an option on the 13.1"kit or the 14" kit. But the FNSL4R calipers are only available on the 14" kit. Hence why this is a custom setup that Todd/TCE performance built for my car.
And I forgot to answer your other questions.
Did 3 15 minute sessions on the Hockenheim ring on the stock BP 10 pads, and one Auto X on the EBC yellows. When I first got this kit they sent me two left rotors. When I replaced the right rotor there was no difference in slot depth between the used rotor and new rotor literally couldn't tell them apart. EBC yellow pads have less than 200 miles on them and the BP-10 pads have 80% life left. I sold my car in December and these have been sitting in my garage ever since.

Thanks for the info.
So these rotors are 13.1" vs 12.88" OD and 1.1" thick showing no wear?
You shipped the car to Germany for the run on Hockenheim? Cool.
I am interested but would need to powder coat red.

That is correct. Lol I bought the car in Germany and shipped it home. I was stationed there for 3 years. The car had many many trips to the Nurburgring and Hockenheim ring under its belt, but the brakes were a late addition during my time there.
If I could get decent money for my JCW brakes I would buy these. Someone put me out of my miserly misery.
Not sure why radial mounting better? Seems I would prefer load to be 90 degrees on the bolts but WTH. Which pads are better for road racing of the two?
I have not heard good things about EBC for the track.

The radial mounting gives you more adjustability. And it doesn't tweak the caliper under stress. The EBC's are by far the better pad. Even on a stock setup I would highly recommend the EBC yellows. Yellowstuff up front and red stuff or yellow stuff in the rear.
