Thanks for responding Mr. WayMotorWorks.
Do those engines come with all the accessories on them?
These arent remanufactured?
What is your price and shipping cost?
I am looking for transmission as well.
Thanks,
Lex

Thanks for this info. Its a long block plus new water and vacuum pump.
This is certainly a good option.
One downside is that all of my peripherals have 140k miles on them...
Let me think about it.
Much appreciated.

Please do not buy a used N14 engine, or accept one if some one is offering it for a song. Way too many issues to address, and by the time your properly R&R it, it will cost more than what you will pay for a factory rebuild/new N14 block.
Go buy Way's rebuild or new N14 engine instead.
BTDT with this unenviable decision after my N14 had fried its cylinder 4 exhaust valves about 12 months ago.

Engines with all peripherals are going for varying amounts of money. $2-3k with ~50k miles....or so they claim.
WAY's is $4000 for the long block and it doesn't include anything but the water and vacuum pump. My car has 140k miles on it so if Im gonna swap all the critical components for new, I'm probably better off just getting another car....eek!
Why did your exhaust valves cook? Any idea?
