I bought this luggage set new with my 2002 Mini Cooper S back in 2002. The luggage set is almot 14 years old. The Mini has about 150K miles on it and we are going to sell it so I don't need the luggage. I even have the original receipt when I purchased it. If you have ever seen this luggage set it is top notch from Samsonite. $900

 

You paid less than $500 but are asking $900?

 

That is a great set of luggage and I would buy it in 2 seconds flat for the right price. BUT and this is a giant BUT, it is used and 14 years old. You did not say anything about the way it was stored do you have pets, smoke, love moth *****?

Also the glaring problem is that you are asking 900 for something that you say you paid 500 for and proof was provided showing that you paid ~500. Now I understand that new at MINI might now be something like 900 (I have not checked, but I am going to).

Also the promotional photos show 4 pieces and you only have 3!

 

In Image 2 it appears that it's a 4-piece set with the Road Ready Duffel sitting open in the boot.

He already stated it was $467 in his receipt. Not sure how he came up with the appreciated price.

 

If the luggage was purchased on Sept 11, 2002, that would make it just under 12-years that 1962Mini has owned the set. Perhaps the 14-years is from the date of manufacture?

PS - It's cool that 1962Mini has the original brochure as well as the receipt. Thank you for sharing this with us, 1962Mini.

 

Thanks for the comments. The 2002 Mini we have is still a blast to drive. When we took it to the track with about 100K on the speedo we went through almost 2 tanks of gas it was so much fun.

The receipt shows what I paid for it. I certainly would consider good offers. Sometimes it is good to list items so that people know what to look for. This luggage set it complete.

I should have stated it was 12 years old.
