I don't understand this TPMS, in my mini, I didn't have TPMS, well at least in the sense of how it's done in other brands of cars. My car had inner hub speed sensors, that if a tire got low, it would decrease the diameter of the wheel/tire, which would decrease the rolling circumference, and in turn increase the "wheel speed", once the hub sensor saw this difference in hub speed between the two sides of the same axle, it would throw the tire pressure light. Once I filled up tires, or changed the flat, I would have to reset it, and continue. So the TPMS is in my hub, not inside the tire. If I hit the reset button while the tire was still flat (call it 15psi) it wouldn't go off again unless it went down (to like 5psi) or if I then pumped up the tire up to its 35psi spec, it would throw the light again because now the opposite side wheel was faster. So I don't know when this changed, but for my 07 Cooper S, I don't have "TPMS" that is installed in the tire. These have rubber valve stems, not metal valve stems (which is common on TPMS systems). If your OEM wheels have rubber valve stems, then you have the same design as me and these will not throw any low tire pressure lights.
? I don't get it, are you from Australia or something?
