what year is the DP for?

 

Down pipe is for an 09 so what ever group of cars use that down pipe will be good. Accessport is un married and headlights are in great shape.

 

Does the downpipe come with the needed gaskets and things?

 

It comes with a brand new v band. I bought the dp used and never installed it but my understanding was that was how it came from alta.

Ok getting a lot of questions. The AP is still sold. What brand is your Alta down pipe? The Alta down pipe is an Alta. Is this down pipe catted? It is catted like every other alta down pipe Ive ever seen. Will this down pipe throw codes? I'm sure it will throw codes but with a programmer you should be fine. I got it used but never got to install it yes it comes with hardware. The headlights have clear lenses over the turn signals perfect for Joey mod.

 

Really are you sure the alta dp is Alta? This made me Burst into laughter. People looked at me funny. Thanks hahaha

WARNING!!!
I was the sucker that sent $250 for the Alta Downpipe. It arrived but I left it at my mechanics shop until I updated my vehicle inspection in Nov. and had some time to leave the car at the shop. When my mechanic opened the box, he immediately noticed that the cat on the DP was blown. It was clanking around and dropping debris when he shook it. He looked into the DP and also noticed that the cat debris was also restricting the passage way so the 3" DP was basically ineffective.

Not much I can do now but warn people about this incident! Forum purchases are risky sometimes!

 

I know a guy who ordered racing cat's for his mustang, brand new and you could see through this thing... and he took a BFS and stabbed it several times for "more flow"....

some people are a little out there with their beliefs about what makes things better or not.
