Yes, they are the same. As long as you DON'T HAVE power-fold mirrors, these RED covers will fit an R56.

No, those are brake ducts for the JCW front bumper. The ones I have fit the stock R60, R56, R57, etc.
See the photo I posted above of the ducts fitted to my Countryman S.
