NEW JCW MINI Cooper Cylinder Head

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $1000

Part fits (you may select multiples): R50
Location (Region): Canada
Item Condition: Brand New

MINI Cooper John Cooper Works cylinder head core with all valves/springs/spark plug tubes installed and camshaft bearing caps.

This head has exhaust ports ported and intake ports mildly ported compared to a stock MINI Cooper cylinder head and as a result will give a good boost in HP/torque!

It will fit 2001-2006 MINI Cooper R50 gasoline models.

I don't understand your statement, the core exchange doesn't cost anything to do.

You keep your core, you can sell it to offset cost or keep it as a spare.

I can see your point here, but I would sure think it would be hard to sell off a stock Mini head. Also, why not spend $50 less and get a head that is goign to produce MUCH more power?

Yes other companies ported heads with/without big valves will produce more HP/torque. Most are about $1500-2500 plus core charge and cores are used not new.

Where can you get a $950 head as you stated STF_U? Sounds ok to me.

I contacted Dan and he said he would cover the shipping. And since I really don't want to go through the hassle of selling my stock head after I put the aftermarket one on this was a great way to go, combined with the fact that this head will make way more power than a JCW head

That is a fair price for a BRAND NEW head with valves and springs...

STF_U: We are always looking for good cylinder head cores (non-ported, OEM condition with no cracks) ... LMK when you want to sell yours

I would agree, decent price for a cleaned and inspected/brand new head.

When the OP said that this is a "core" I assumed it was used, but perhaps I am wrong.

Also, thank for for the advice, I may be contacting you soon
